Aging in Place Personal Assistant (Non-Clinical Role)

Are you looking to step away from traditional clinical or case management roles?

This position is designed for professionals with backgrounds in rehab, healthcare, or social services who want to continue meaningful work—without the constraints of a clinical setting.

About Life Managers & Associates

Life Managers & Associates supports older adults by managing the financial, administrative, and day-to-day responsibilities that allow them to live independently with confidence.

Our clients and their families trust us with highly personal and important aspects of their lives. We bring structure, clarity, and peace of mind in situations that are often complex and sensitive.

Our work is delivered through a team-based model, where each client is supported by a dedicated group of professionals working in partnership with the client, not in place of them. We meet clients where they are, helping them stay engaged in their affairs while providing the oversight and support needed to reduce risk, prevent errors, and protect against fraud.

About the Role

You’ll work one-on-one with older adults to help them remain independent, organized, and engaged in their daily lives.

This is a professional, non-clinical role focused on lifestyle support and meeting the client where they are to achieve their goals. Not case management, and no productivity quotas.

Work Style: Field-based with independence, supported by a collaborative team

What You’ll Do

  • Provide the “just right” support for administrative affairs, organization, and household systems

  • Consistent clients and deeper relationships
  • Flexible, human-centered workdays

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with older adults and a genuine interest in supporting independence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and self-direction.

· Exceptional organizational skills with keen situational awareness; able to proactively anticipate needs and maintain order in dynamic environments

· Tech-savvy and adaptable, with confidence working across multiple digital platforms and systems (PC and Mac)

· Brings a collaborative mindset, recognizes and appreciates the strengths of teammates while confidently contributing their own expertise to support shared success

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Quicken experience is a plus

  • Ability to pass a background check and provide three professional references

Why Join Life Managers & Associates

  • Work in a role built on trust, relationships, and real responsibility
  • Enjoy a balance of independence and team support
  • Opportunity for long-term growth and increased responsibility
