Technical & Functional Competency Criteria
Compliance Management
1) Demonstrates in-depth understanding of statutory and regulatory compliance, including labour laws, Factory Act, ESI, PF, CLRA, and local/state-level norms
2) Fully proficient in Integrated Management Systems (IMS), including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, with ability to lead internal and external audits
3) Possesses expert knowledge of environmental and chemical compliance such as ZDHC guidelines, Higg Index (FEM/FSLM), and hazardous chemical handling rules
4) Manages end-to-end buyer and third-party audits (BSCI, SEDEX, SA8000, WRAP), ensuring zero major non-conformities
Sustainability Management
1) Leads sustainability strategy aligned with SDGs and buyer expectations; implements measurable ESG initiatives
2) Demonstrates experience in executing projects for energy and water efficiency, sludge minimization, and emission control
3) Ensures compliance and recertification under GOTS, GRS, OCS, OEKOTEX, BCI, and other global sustainability standards
4) Develops and publishes sustainability performance dashboards, KPIs, and annual ESG reports
Human Resource Management Competency Criteria
Workforce Management
1) Manages workforce planning, shift deployment, and optimal manpower ratios across departments
2) Maintains healthy industrial relations with proven track record in union handling, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution
3) Ensures complete compliance with statutory requirements related to HR, including labour law returns, time and wage records, and contractor management
4) Oversees payroll operations, attendance systems, and time management through SAP tools
Talent Development & Capability Building
1) Drives competency mapping, skill gap analysis, and targeted training programs across technical and managerial levels
2) Implements succession planning for leadership continuity, and fosters internal talent pipeline
3) Oversees performance management system including goal setting, KPIs, appraisals, and employee feedback mechanisms

Safety, Risk & Emergency Preparedness Competencies
1) Demonstrates expertise in workplace safety infrastructure including fire hydrant systems, LPG storage safety, and underground diesel storage handling
2) Carries out risk assessments using HIRA and Aspect & Impact methodologies, and ensures control measures for all high-risk operations
3) Prepares and executes emergency response plans including chemical spill management, fire evacuation, confined space entry, and boiler safety
4) Conducts Internal IMS audits, incident investigations, and mock drills regularly with root cause analysis and CAPA implementation

1) Implements digital HR solutions such as e-onboarding, digital learning, QR/barcode-based tracking, and employee self-service platforms

Desired Skill Requirements
Educational Background
1) MBA with specialization in HR & Industrial Relations
Experience
1) 15–20 years in textile wet processing, with minimum 5 years in senior management or leadership positions
Core Skills
1) Advanced understanding of textile dyeing, finishing chemistry, and sustainable processing
2) Management Representation in IMS and various certification Requirements
3) Trained in Lean Six Sigma
4) Financial acumen in budgeting, cost control, and P&L management
Soft Skills
1) Strategic decision-making and problem-solving
2) Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
3) Effective communication in English, Tamil, and Hindi (for local and buyer-level coordination)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
1) Achieves >95% success rate in buyer, certification, and statutory compliance audits
2) Maintains employee retention rate above 90% in critical functions
3) Covers >90% of employees with technical and soft skill training annually
4) Ensures zero legal non-compliance or violations in audits
5) Meets sustainability reduction targets for energy (kWh/kg), water (L/kg), and sludge (kg/day)
6) Maintains zero fatal or major safety incidents annually
7) Closes all HR or EHS-related projects within agreed timelines and budget
8) Improves grievance resolution turnaround to under 5 days
9) Digitizes 80% or more of core HR and compliance processes

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
