As the AGM in the Bar Leadership Team within Seven Grand Los Angeles, you will work directly with your GM to identify areas for growth, develop new skills, and build your foundation for leadership. This role is designed as both a learning path to become a General Manager and an active management position within the bar. The GM has the autonomy to assign this position tasks, projects, and priorities that reflect both the needs of the bar and your development.
Partner with your GM to identify leadership goals and areas for growth
Collaborate on cocktail menus, ensuring creativity, guest appeal, and cost-efficiency
Support planning and execution of events, activations, and community engagements aligned with the bar’s brand
Partner with vendors and marketing teams to drive exposure, awareness, and revenue growth
Close the bar and handle cash nightly from drops and tip outs
Track guest feedback, event ROI, and revenue trends to inform decision-making
Assist with weekly budgets, inventory, and ordering to support financial goals
Develop systems that improve consistency in service, prep, and operations
Support the Bar Leadership Team by leading by example, mentoring peers, and fostering a culture of hospitality and accountability
Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and leadership development workshops
Represent Pouring With Heart’s values of community, camaraderie, and connection in every interaction
Prior bar or managerial experience in hospitality preferred
3+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume or cocktail focused environment preferred
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while keeping a calm, positive demeanor
Strong product knowledge in spirits, beer, and cocktails with curiosity to expand expertise
Ability to balance creativity with financial awareness (menu costing, waste reduction, ROI tracking)
Excellent communication and organizational skills with both staff and guests
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor
Team-oriented leader with the ability to delegate, coach, and support peers
Must be 21+ and hold valid certifications for responsible beverage service (varies by state)
Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Fast-paced movements and mobility required to cover bar and floor space efficiently
Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions as part of daily bar operations
