Welder – Nugent Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder with a strong background in fabrication and the ability to work independently from engineering drawings.

· Full time hours (Four and a half day week - early finish on Friday! Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 7am-1pm)

The Role:

· Carrying out MIG welding and fabrication of agricultural machinery and trailers.

· Opportunity to progress into a robotic welding role.

· Jig-facilitated welding.

· No heavy lifting; lighter style fabrication in a work shop fully equipped with lifting aids.

· Consistent, steady work on standardised products.

· Producing products as detailed in Technical Engineering Drawings.

· Ensuring all materials produced are meeting high quality standards.

· Working to production schedule to maximise efficiency.

The Person:

· Willingness to learn.

· Strong communication skills.

· Ability to plan, organise and control daily workload.

· Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

· Ability to work under pressure and be fully reliable.
