Agricultural Engineer

Expected Job Role
Contract Management & Farmer Engagement:
-
Develop and manage farmer contracting frameworks for crop supply, including pricing, timelines, and quality standards.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with farmers and cooperatives.

Conduct field visits to monitor adherence to contract terms, crop health, and farmer performance.
Crop Expertise & Technical Support:
-
Provide expert agronomic advice and support for strawberry, broccoli, and cauliflower crops.

Recommend best agricultural practices, including soil preparation, irrigation, pest management, and harvesting.

Monitor and optimize yield, quality, and sustainability in alignment with organizational goals.
Project Management & Coordination:

Coordinate agricultural projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.

Liaise with internal teams (supply chain, QA, R&D) and external partners (farmers, suppliers).

Implement innovative farming techniques and sustainability practices.
Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare regular reports on crop performance, farmer compliance, and contract KPIs.

Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Innovation & Development:

Introduce new technologies, cultivation methods, and crop varieties that align with market trends.

Drive continuous improvement in farming operations and contract efficiency.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in agriculture, with a strong track record in strawberry, broccoli, and cauliflower crops.

Demonstrated experience in farmer relations and agricultural contracting.

Strong project coordination and people management skills.

Proven ability to implement innovative and sustainable agricultural practices.

Excellent communication skills with very good English (minimum); Arabic is a plus.

Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Working conditions

Location: Sadaat city, New Cairo

Working days: Sunday - Thursday

Working hours: 9:00 AM -5:00 PM

DAYS Off: Friday and Saturday
