Agricultural Engineer

An Agricultural Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving agricultural systems, equipment, and processes to enhance productivity, sustainability, and operational efficiency in farming and food production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop agricultural machinery, irrigation systems, and farming equipment
• Plan and supervise agricultural infrastructure projects
• Improve crop production systems and resource efficiency
• Monitor irrigation, drainage, and water management systems
• Conduct research on sustainable farming methods and technologies
• Evaluate soil, environmental, and agricultural conditions
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with farmers, contractors, and agricultural specialists
• Implement modern agricultural technologies and automation systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or related field
• Previous experience in agricultural or farming projects preferred
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, soil management, and farm machinery
• Familiarity with agricultural regulations and sustainability practices
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in engineering software and technical reporting
• UAE driving license is an advantage
