We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Agricultural Hydraulic Equipment Service Technician to join our unique service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering quality service. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various types of agricultural equipment in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with proven proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems, welding, fabrication and 12-volt electronics will be considered for a higher pay rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of agricultural equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine service tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, and tire service.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshooting and working with 12-volt electrical systems.
  • Welding and fabrication.
  • Use shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals to complete service work efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors and team members to ensure timely job completion and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications to Apply:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems required.
  • Proficiency in 12-volt electrical systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication required.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience using common shop tools (e.g., wrenches, grinders, hoists, multimeters, pneumatic tools).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. (A background check is part of the hiring process)
  • Strong understanding of time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with peers, supervisors, and occasionally customers.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment technologies and service techniques.
  • Familiarity with agricultural machinery and implements is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Positive employment references will be requested as part of the hiring process.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in shop and field environments, in varying weather conditions.
  • Working in the shop and on the field during service calls.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Occasional overtime or weekend work will be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
