RRFN is seeking an ag journalist to join our team. Strong writing, speaking and digital media skills are necessary. We are looking for someone passionate about telling agriculture’s story. A solid work ethic, the ability to travel and work flexible hours are a must. You should be self-motivated and work in a deadline-driven environment. Must have a valid driver's license. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on agricultural topics to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Write engaging and informative news stories and deliver content on-air.
• Fact-check all information included in articles to maintain credibility and accuracy.
• Utilize strong communication skills to interview experts and edit content for news stories.
• Deliver farm news and market information on-air
• Collaborate with reporters to produce multimedia content
