Agronomist

Job Title: Agronomist (Field & Lab) Location: Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia (Site-based) Monthly Salary: 4580 SAR + Benefits Reports to: Senior Agronomist

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Agronomist to join our Quality Department in Al Kharj. This role is critical to our production cycle, focusing on the precise collection, preparation, and testing of agricultural samples. You will provide the data-driven insights necessary for our senior team to make informed cultivation decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Sampling & Preparation: Collect and prepare agricultural samples (soil, water, or crop) in strict accordance with testing guidelines and timelines.
• Technical Testing: Conduct a variety of standardized tests on collected samples, ensuring high levels of accuracy and data integrity.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all sample preparations and test results to ensure full traceability and audit readiness.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and operating efficiency of all laboratory instruments and testing tools.
• Quality Support: Provide timely assistance to the Senior Agronomist and Laboratory Supervisor to maintain optimal crop health and yield.

Working Conditions & Context

• Location: Remote site approximately 30km from Al Kharj city.
• Environment: Must be comfortable working in extreme outdoor temperatures (exceeding 50C during summer).
• Schedule: 6 days per week (Friday off) within a 24/7 operational environment.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Agriculture or a closely related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in agronomy or agricultural laboratory settings.
• Language: Good command of written and spoken English.
• Soft Skills: A positive attitude, strong team-player mentality, and the ability to handle high-pressure operational environments.
