AI Ads Intern — Viral Creative & Performance Marketing (NYC, In-Person)

LockedIn AI is a fast-growing NYC startup. We're hiring a hungry, talented AI Ads Intern to own paid growth end-to-end.

This is a revenue role, not a learning role. You already know what goes viral, you already understand how modern ads work, and you're ready to prove you can drive real numbers with AI as your creative and strategic copilot.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Ship viral ad creative across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, and LinkedIn

- Use AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, Sora, HeyGen, Claude, Nano Banana) to generate ads at volume

- Use Claude to plan placement, audience targeting, and budget allocation

- Own campaign setup, testing frameworks, and rapid iteration cycles

- Hit revenue and ROAS targets — you own the number, not just the creative

- Read the audience: know what resonates, what converts, what gets scrolled past

- Kill losers fast, scale winners hard

- Report on performance weekly with clear reads on what's working and why

WHO YOU ARE

- You can point to content, ads, or campaigns you've personally made that went viral or performed at scale

- You understand how modern ads work — hooks, formats, platform algorithms, creative testing

- Revenue-driven mindset: you think in CPA, ROAS, LTV, not impressions

- Genuinely creative: you generate 10 ideas when asked for 1, and the 10th is the best

- Deep audience intuition: you can predict what will land before you ship it

- Fluent with Claude and AI creative tools — you use them daily, not occasionally

- Comfortable running ads on Meta, TikTok, or Google Ads Manager

- Self-starter energy: you don't wait for a playbook, you build one

NICE TO HAVE

- You've personally run ads that generated measurable revenue

- You've built a following or grown a brand through organic + paid

- Background in performance marketing, DTC, or the creator economy

COMPENSATION

- $16.50/hr base pay starting day one

- Real ad budget to drive real revenue

- Performance-based upside tied directly to ROAS and revenue generated

- Access to premium AI creative tools and analytics stack

- Direct work with the founding team on growth strategy

- Path to full-time based on results

LOGISTICS

- Location: New York City, in-person (Manhattan office)

- Full-time, 40 hours/week

- Start date: ASAP
