Position Summary Nalu Federal is seeking a transitioning service member for a SkillBridge opportunity as an AI Analyst. This training role is designed to provide structured, hands-on experience in the practical use of artificial intelligence tools within a federal contracting environment. The participant will support business operations, research, proposal development, administrative analysis, document drafting, and internal process improvement while learning how to use AI responsibly, effectively, and professionally.

The AI Analyst will work directly with Nalu leadership and staff to strengthen internal workflows, improve productivity, organize information, develop written products, and support decision-making. This position is intended to prepare the participant for civilian employment in AI-enabled business operations, proposal support, research, and professional services.

Key Duties and Training Areas Support proposal, capture, and business development activities through market research, opportunity tracking, and draft content support.

Use AI tools to assist with document drafting, summarization, research acceleration, note consolidation, and workflow improvement.

Prepare professional business communications including emails, memoranda, executive summaries, reports, and briefing materials.

Assist with document review, proofreading, formatting, version control, and quality assurance for internal and client-ready products.

Organize business data, maintain trackers, and support reporting using spreadsheets and digital collaboration tools.

Help document internal processes and standard operating procedures to improve consistency and efficiency.

Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation and AI-enabled methods, with appropriate human review and oversight.

Provide administrative and executive support for meetings, agendas, action-item tracking, and follow-up communication.

Complete a capstone project demonstrating practical application of AI tools in support of business operations or process improvement.

Learning Outcomes By the end of the SkillBridge program, the participant will be able to:

Apply AI tools in a professional services setting with sound judgment and human validation.

Conduct structured research, evaluate source credibility, and produce concise, actionable summaries.

Draft and refine professional written products suitable for leadership and client-facing use.

Support proposal and business development functions in a government contracting environment.

Organize information, maintain trackers, and produce reports that support operational decision-making.

Document workflows and recommend practical process improvements using AI-enabled tools.

Work independently on assigned projects while meeting deadlines, quality standards, and professional expectations.

Preferred Qualifications Transitioning active duty service member approved or eligible for DoD SkillBridge participation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong research, organization, and attention to detail.

Comfort with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, knowledge management, business operations, or government contracting.

Ability to handle sensitive business information with discretion and professionalism.

Familiarity with federal contracting, proposal development, administrative support, or professional services is preferred but not required.
