AI Automation Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly capable, resourceful AI Automation Intern to help execute mission-critical projects across our organization using Claude as the primary development environment. This is a paid internship for someone who is excited about using AI to design, build, and deploy real business systems quickly.

You will work directly on high-impact initiatives, including:

• Automating cash flow reporting across 5 entities
• Building a senior living sales bot that calls leads and schedules tours
• Automating accounting workflows across multiple entities

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience using Claude to scope, prototype, write, refine, and implement business automation systems across finance, sales, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Use Claude as the primary tool to help design, document, and build automation solutions for mission-critical business processes.
• Help automate cash flow reporting across 5 entities, including data consolidation, reporting logic, and dashboard outputs.
• Assist in building a senior living sales bot that can engage leads, support outbound calling workflows, qualify prospects, and schedule tours.
• Help automate accounting workflows across multiple entities, including transaction categorization, reconciliations, recurring processes, and management reporting.
• Work closely with leadership to translate operational pain points into structured Claude prompts, system designs, technical workflows, and deployable solutions.
• Use Claude to generate and refine code, logic, process maps, documentation, API workflows, and implementation plans.
• Support testing, debugging, iteration, and optimization of systems created through AI-assisted development.
• Help connect internal systems, spreadsheets, CRMs, accounting platforms, and calling tools through AI-generated workflows and integrations.
• Document repeatable workflows so the organization can continue scaling automation over time.

Preferred Background / Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in AI-assisted development, workflow automation, and practical business systems.
• Comfortable using Claude or eager to become highly proficient in it as a core execution tool.
• Familiarity with concepts such as APIs, databases, spreadsheets, business systems, and automation platforms.
• Exposure to programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL is helpful, but the bigger priority is the ability to build effectively with AI tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break messy business problems into structured tasks.
• Detail-oriented, fast-learning, and comfortable working in a high-accountability environment where outputs matter.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

This is not a passive internship. You will use Claude every day to help build systems that directly improve how the business operates. Your work will contribute to better visibility into cash, more efficient sales conversion, and stronger accounting automation across the organization.

You will not be working on hypothetical school-style assignments. You will be working on live business problems with real operational value.
