About the Role

We are looking for a tech-savvy problem solver to help improve our fulfillment systems, WMS, dashboards, automations, and AI-assisted workflows.

This role works between warehouse users, operations leadership, customer service, brands, and developers. You will help identify inefficient processes, translate user feedback into clear technology requests, and support better reporting, automation, and system design.

You do not need to be a senior engineer, but you should be comfortable with SQL, basic Python, AI tools, dashboards, and process improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Work with pickers, packers, managers, customer service, brands, and developers to understand system and workflow issues
• Find manual or inefficient processes and recommend better ways to do them
• Turn user feedback into clear development cards, feature requests, user stories, and process notes
• Use AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools to improve workflows, documentation, reporting, and automations
• Build dashboards and reports for SLAs, order volume, late orders, fulfillment speed, picker/packer performance, inventory accuracy, marketplace stats, and brand performance
• Use SQL, Excel/Sheets, basic Python, APIs, or automation tools to pull, clean, and analyze data
• Test new WMS features, give feedback to developers, and help make sure features launch correctly
• Create SOPs, training guides, process flows, and documentation for new tools and workflows
• Help automate customer service workflows using tools like Intercom, Fin AI, Zendesk, or ServiceNow

• Hands-on, curious, analytical, and detail-oriented
• Able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams

Requirements

• Basic SQL experience
• Basic Python or scripting knowledge
• Experience with dashboards, charts, KPIs, or reporting tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Math, or similar field preferred
• Strong understanding of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms
• Ability to write clear technical requests, user stories, feature cards, SOPs, and documentation
• Comfortable in a fast-paced fulfillment, logistics, warehouse, e-commerce, or marketplace environment
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work on-site in Santee, CA

Nice to Have

• Experience with WMS, ERP, 3PL, fulfillment, e-commerce, marketplaces, or warehouse operations
• Experience with Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, Metabase, Excel, or Google Sheets
• Experience with Zapier, Make, Airtable, APIs, or other automation tools
• Experience with Intercom Fin, Zendesk, ServiceNow, or customer service AI tools
• Understanding of SLAs, fulfillment metrics, shipping performance, inventory accuracy, and warehouse productivity
• Experience writing product specs, wireframes, user stories, or development tickets

Example Projects You Will Own

• Build dashboards for order volume, late orders, SLA performance, fulfillment speed, and marketplace trends
• Create picker and packer performance reports
• Interview warehouse users to find manual work that can be automated
• Turn operational issues into development cards for the dev team
• Use AI to summarize issues, create SOPs, clean data, and improve communication
• Help design and test WMS features that make fulfillment faster and easier
• Create brand-facing reports showing fulfillment accuracy, shipping speed, inventory performance, and operational stats
• Improve customer service automation using Intercom and Fin AI
