AI Business Solutions Intern

We are seeking an AI‑native college student to help our organization identify and apply practical artificial intelligence solutions using Microsoft 365 and Copilot. This intern will partner with leaders across Legal, Contracts, Environmental Compliance, Training, HR, and other business areas to understand daily work challenges and assess how Copilot, Power Platform, and other Microsoft 365 tools can be responsibly deployed to improve productivity, quality, and decision‑making. This position is based in our Allentown, PA office.

• Listen to business leaders and subject matter experts to understand workflows, pain points, and repetitive tasks.


• Identify opportunities where Microsoft Copilot (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) can streamline work or surface insights.


• Assess use cases for Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, and other M365‑integrated tools.


• Translate business challenges into clearly defined AI and Copilot use cases.


• Explain AI and Copilot concepts in plain language for non‑technical audiences.


• Document data, security, compliance, and change‑management considerations.


• Develop short recommendation briefs, demos, or visuals for leadership review.


• Maintain a prioritized backlog of Copilot and automation opportunities.

• Leaders have a clearer understanding of what Microsoft Copilot can realistically do.


• Actionable Copilot and automation opportunities are identified across departments.


• Recommendations align with existing Microsoft 365 licensing and governance.


• The organization builds confidence in responsible AI adoption.

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student.


• Strong interest in applied AI and Microsoft 365 tools.


• Ability to learn quickly across diverse business functions.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Curious, proactive, and solution‑oriented mindset.

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar generative AI tools.


• Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, or SharePoint.


• Basic understanding of data privacy, security, or Responsible AI concepts.


• Experience with business analysis or process documentation.

This internship focuses on applied AI enablement rather than software engineering. Coding experience is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


• Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and standard office equipment.


• Occasionally may need to stand, walk, bend, or reach within the office environment.


• Ability to lift and carry light items such as files or office materials (up to 10-15 pounds) as needed.
