Role Overview

To educate, inspire, and guide students in understanding concepts and applications in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Science, fostering computational thinking, problem-solving, programming skills, and digital literacy, and preparing students for higher education, careers in technology, and lifelong learning in STEM fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruction: Develop and deliver engaging lessons in AI and Computer Science for Classes IX–X & XI–XII, covering programming, algorithms, data structures, AI fundamentals, and applied projects.
• Practical Learning: Design hands-on coding exercises, AI projects, and simulations to reinforce concepts and encourage practical application.
• Assessment: Evaluate student understanding through quizzes, assignments, coding projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.
• Curriculum Implementation: Ensure alignment of lessons with CBSE curriculum, school standards, and emerging trends in AI and Computer Science.
• Student Support: Provide one-on-one guidance for students struggling with technical concepts and mentor advanced learners in coding or AI projects.
• Integration & Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to integrate AI and technology projects into school activities and competitions.
• Innovation & Awareness: Keep students updated on latest developments in AI and computing, promoting ethical use of technology and digital responsibility.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Student Feedback: 80% positive feedback from students through structured feedback forms.
• Parent’s Feedback: 80% positive feedback from parents gathered via periodic surveys.
• Syllabi Completion: 100% of the prescribed syllabus to be covered and documented in the syllabi format.
• Improvement of All Students: Each student should demonstrate at least a 10% improvement from the first to subsequent internal assessments.
• Academic Performance: At least 50% of students should score above 75% in internal exams and board assessments.

Skills

Expertise in AI, programming languages (Python, Java, etc.), data structures, algorithms, computational thinking, student engagement, problem-solving, and project-based learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• B.Ed. or teaching experience preferred.
• Experience teaching AI, coding, and Computer Science to secondary and senior secondary students is highly desirable.
