The role of data analyst will translate our unified data into actionable insights that drive efficiency across Freight, Warehousing, and Customer Service. You will build the Supply Chain Control Tower that gives Operations and Customers real-time visibility into the movement of goods, enabling data-driven decisions that improve EBITDA. The goal is to launch the Supply Chain Control Tower and Customer Visibility Portal within 9 months (Q2–Q4 2026) enabling a holistic view of the business. You will build dashboards for the Operations teams, which will provide a premium product for our customers – visualizing everything from Landed Cost and Transit Times to Warehouse Labor Efficiency. You will prove the value of our AI initiatives by tracking the tangible time and money saved per shipment.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Design & Business Intelligence
-
Build the "Control Tower": Develop real-time Power BI dashboards that visualize the full order journey: Inbound Freight status -> Warehouse Receiving speed -> Outbound Order accuracy.
-
Customer Visibility: Prototype and build the "Client Portal" views that give our customers self-service access to their inventory levels, shipment locations, and spend analytics.
-
Operational Scorecards: Create unified scorecards for Carriers (Transit adherence) and Warehouse Teams (Dock-to-Stock time), identifying bottlenecks in the handoff between them.
Strategic Analysis & AI ROI
-
End-to-End Efficiency: Analyze the "lag time" between operational steps (e.g., "Time from Vessel Arrival to Warehouse Availability") to identify where AI Agents can speed up the flow.
-
Margin Analysis: Combine Freight rates and Warehouse labor costs to calculate the true Net Margin per Customer, helping leadership optimize pricing.
-
AI Performance: Track the success of AI Agents (e.g., "Percentage of autonomous email replies") to validate the ROI of our technological investments.
Required Skills & Experience
-
3+ years in Data Analytics: Expert-level SQL and Power BI/Tableau skills.
-
Data Transformation: Familiarity with dbt (reading models) to collaborate with engineers on business logic.
-
Data Modeling: Ability to design "Cross-Functional" data models (e.g., linking a Container ID to a Warehouse Receipt).
-
Supply Chain Fluency: Clear knowledge and understanding of both Freight (ETD/ETA, Demurrage) and Warehousing (SKU, UPH, WMS).
-
Product Mindset: The ability to visualize and create internal dashboards and external customer reports as "products" that need to be intuitive and valuable.
-
Storytelling with Data: The ability to clearly articulate the why behind the data to operators in a manner that is understandable.
Benefits: The company offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as basic and voluntary life and voluntary ancillary coverages for accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity.
