AI Developer

Key Responsibilities:
1 . AI/ML Model Development :Design, build and optimize AI/ML models for clinical prediction, diagnostics, and hospital workflow optimization.Develop models for structured and unstructured medical data Implement NLP pipelines for extracting medical entities, symptoms, diagnoses and treatments from clinical text.Build computer vision models for healthcare imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI, pathology images).
2. AI System Integration: Integrate AI models with hospital systems, dashboards and workflows. Build APIs and microservices for real-time inference and automation.Implement MLOps pipelines for deployment, monitoring and updates
3. Medical Data Processing : Handle sensitive patient data with compliance-focused standards (PHI, HIPAA mindset).Work with EHR/EMR data formats and hospital information systems.Collect, clean, preprocess and annotate healthcare datasets.
4. Requirement Understanding & Domain Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, clinicians and medical staff to understand real-world needs.Translate hospital pain points into technical AI solutions.Document requirements and create prototypes aligned with clinical workflows.
5. Ai Model Evaluation & Validation Perform model validation using medical accuracy metrics (sensitivity, specificity, F1, AUROC).Run clinical-grade testing for real-world reliability.Ensure model explainability (XAI) for medical decision support.
6. Research & Innovation: Stay updated with medical AI research, FDA-approved AI tools and healthcare AI best practices.Experiment with LLMs, RAG and domain-specific medical knowledge graphs.Innovate new AI solutions that enhance hospital efficiency and patient care.
7. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of datasets, model decisions and experiment logs.Present insights, findings and results to technical and medical stakeholders in simple language.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields.
• 3–5+ years of experience in AI/ML, preferably with exposure to healthcare datasets.
• Strong understanding of:
• Medical terminologies
• EHR/EMR systems
• Clinical workflow
• Hands-on experience with:
• Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch
• NLP and Computer Vision
• LLMs, RAG, medical knowledge extraction
• Data pipelines and MLOps
• Ability to work closely with medical professionals and convert clinical knowledge into AI logic.

Good-to-Have

• Prior experience in hospitals, health-tech startups, or medical AI projects.
• Exposure to radiology AI, pathology AI, or medical chatbots.
• Knowledge of global healthcare data standards like FHIR, DICOM.
