AI Engineer (Generative AI)

AI Engineer (3–5 Years Experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with 4–7 years of experience who is passionate about building scalable AI systems and deploying advanced machine learning solutions into production. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Python, NLP, Generative AI, and working with modern data and search platforms such as ElasticSearch and Redis. In this role, you will collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to design, optimize, and operationalize AI solutions that enhance our HR technology products.

Key Responsibilities

AI System Design & Development

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end AI/ML pipelines—from data ingestion to model deployment.
• Develop scalable architectures for training, serving, and monitoring machine learning and generative AI models.
• Implement MLOps workflows and CI/CD automation for AI systems.

NLP & Language Model Engineering

• Build, fine-tune, and optimize NLP models for tasks such as classification, entity extraction, summarization, and matching.
• Work with LLM frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, or similar ecosystems.
• Optimize inference performance using techniques like quantization, distillation, and prompt engineering.

Generative AI & LLM Integrations

• Develop generative AI solutions for use cases such as content generation, conversational AI, job–candidate matching, and workflow automation.
• Integrate large language models into production systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and safety.
• Experiment with cutting-edge generative AI research and incorporate relevant innovations into product features.

Database, Search & Retrieval Systems

• Work with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) to store and manage high-volume structured and unstructured data.
• Build and optimize search and retrieval pipelines using ElasticeSearch, Redis, or vector databases.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to enhance model accuracy and contextual understanding.

API & Backend Integration

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for serving AI models and solutions.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams to ensure seamless integration and high-performance deployment.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and performance tuning for deployed AI services.

Research, Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on the latest trends in AI, LLMs, NLP, and scalable ML infrastructure.
• Conduct research and prototyping to evaluate new models, frameworks, and architectures.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance product performance and automation.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in AI engineering or ML engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with NLP frameworks (SpaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face).
• Experience building, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications.
• Solid understanding of data structures, software engineering principles, and distributed systems.
• Strong working knowledge of MongoDB, Solr, and Redis.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps/MLOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred

• Experience in HR Tech or recruitment AI systems.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or RAG-based architectures.
• Contribution to open-source AI/ML/NLP projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
