AI Engineer – Healthcare AI Systems

Role Overview

HospitALL is seeking a highly skilled Contract AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy clinical-grade AI models for patient symptom assessment, medical report interpretation, and prescription safety verification within the HospitALL digital health ecosystem. This role will directly shape the intelligence layer of Pakistan’s next-generation patient safety platform.

The engineer will work closely with medical professionals, data analysts, and mobile engineers to ensure that all AI outputs are clinically safe, explainable, scalable, and compliant with healthcare data regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI models for symptom analysis, urgency classification, and diagnostic guidance.
• Develop logic systems for prescription dosage checks, drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Build medical report interpretation models for labs, radiology summaries, and diagnostic flags.
• Train and optimize AI models using structured healthcare datasets.
• Work closely with the Clinical Review Panel to validate medical accuracy and ethical safety.
• Develop AI inference APIs for smooth integration into the HospitALL app.
• Ensure data privacy, encryption, and regulatory compliance at the AI processing level.
• Optimize AI response times for mobile-friendly real-time performance.
• Maintain version control, technical documentation, and security audit logs.
• Support testing, monitoring, and refinement during pre-launch and soft rollout.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or Biomedical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML product development.
• Strong expertise in:
• Python, TensorFlow / PyTorch, Scikit-learn
• NLP for medical text processing
• Classification and decision-tree modeling
• Prior experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or clinical AI is highly preferred.
• Experience with API deployment, microservices, and cloud AI infrastructure.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Successful deployment of all 3 AI modules within 90 days.
• Clinical validation approval from HospitALL medical board.
• AI response accuracy above 90% in pilot testing.
• Zero critical safety failures at launch.
• Optimized inference latency for real-time app use.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs65,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month
