AI Engineering Trainee

Summary

The Industrial Engineering Intern will support the optimization of processes within a dynamic distribution and assembly warehouse environment. The intern will work closely with operations and warehouse teams to analyze, model, and improve material and workflow efficiency across multiple stages of the operation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze and document current process flows within distribution and assembly areas.
• Develop and validate process models to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct time and motion studies to measure work content, evaluate labor utilization, and establish performance standards.
• Assist in warehouse layout design and optimization , focusing on material flow, space utilization, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and track performance metrics.
• Support continuous improvement projects aligned with lean manufacturing and operational excellence principles.

Qualifications :

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in AI or Computer Science majo or a related field.
• Completed coursework in Process Optimization, Operations Research, and Facility Layout & Design .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in process modeling and simulation tools (., AutoCAD, Arena, FlexSim, or equivalent) and data analysis software (., Excel, Power BI, Minitab).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, hands-on environment
