The global recruitment market is valued at $500B+, yet most hiring is still manual, slow, and inefficient. Nexa is changing that by combining automation, AI agents, and real-time data to dramatically improve hiring speed and quality.

As an AI-Native Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in building scalable systems, integrating AI capabilities, and shipping products quickly using modern development workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimise scalable backend services and APIs.

Build and maintain full-stack applications using modern frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.).

Integrate AI models and LLM-powered features into production systems.

Develop systems for processing, structuring, and utilising candidate and job data.

Collaborate closely with product and ML engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Implement authentication, user management, and secure data handling.

Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Leverage AI tools (e.g. Cursor, copilots) to accelerate development and iteration speed.

Key Qualifications:

✅ 3+ years of experience in full stack or backend development

✅ Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and/or Python

✅ Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Node.js

✅ Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB

✅ Familiarity with integrating APIs and third-party services

AI-Native Requirements (Critical):

✅ Regular use of AI tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar

✅ Experience integrating LLMs into applications (prompting, APIs, workflows)

✅ Ability to balance rule-based logic with AI-driven approaches

✅ Comfortable building and iterating quickly using AI-assisted workflows

Bonus:

✅ Experience building AI agents or automation systems

✅ Familiarity with email automation or workflow tools

✅ Experience in recruitment tech, HR SaaS, or marketplaces

✅ Startup or 0 to 1 product experience
