Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and other AI tools to address real-world challenges.
• Implement unsupervised learning techniques to uncover hidden patterns and insights within large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems, ensuring seamless model deployment and performance monitoring.
• Develop data pipelines using ETL processes, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility for analytics and modeling purposes.
• Design and maintain scalable database architectures optimized for big data processing with technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and SQL databases.
• Conduct data mining activities to extract valuable information from complex datasets, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS for model training, deployment, and management of AI applications at scale.
• Explore advanced topics like natural language processing (NLP), linked data integration, and quantum engineering to enhance AI capabilities.

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Java, C, Bash (Unix shell), VBA, and R for developing machine learning solutions.
• Strong experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, SAS analytics tools, and Talend for data integration.
• Expertise in big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark for processing large-scale datasets efficiently.
• Solid understanding of database design principles along with hands-on experience with SQL for data querying and management.
• Knowledge of natural language processing techniques for building intelligent language models and NLP applications.
• Familiarity with model training workflows, model deployment strategies, and performance optimization in cloud environments like AWS.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Looker for visualization and insights presentation.
• Ability to work with diverse data sources including linked data sets to create interconnected knowledge graphs or semantic models.
• Understanding of quantum engineering principles as they relate to emerging AI research areas is a plus. Pay: $49,938.28 - $60,140.72 per year
