AI Project Management Intern – Pathway to Full-Time Employment
About the Role
Rapid Labs is looking for a highly motivated Interns who is a recent graduate in Artificial Intelligence or a related field. This role is designed as a career building opportunity leading toward a permanent position.
The ideal candidate will work closely with AI engineers, product teams, and US based clients to understand business problems, translate them into AI driven solutions, and support project execution. Complete training will be provided. However, strong English communication skills and the ability to handle client conversations are mandatory. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, thinking creatively, communicating confidently, and working under pressure in a fast paced AI environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication and Requirement Gathering
- Engage and communicate with US-based clients using multiple channels, including email, messaging apps, phone calls, and video conferences.
- Understand client business problems and translate them into clear AI or software requirements.
- Ask in depth follow up questions to reach the root cause of issues and clarify requirements.
- Act as a communication bridge between clients and technical teams.
- Participate in solution discussions and present ideas clearly and confidently.
Project and Solution Support
- Assist in defining AI based solutions for common and uncommon business problems.
- Support AI project planning, documentation, and execution.
- Understand AI and software development workflows and contribute meaningfully.
- Learn quickly and apply concepts across different domains.
- Absorb feedback and continuously improve performance.
Analysis and Thinking
- Think out of the box when faced with unique or non standard client problems.
- Analyze complex conversations and extract actionable insights.
- Pay close attention to detail in requirements, documentation, and communication.
- Work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and feedback.
Presentation and Reporting
- Create professional presentations for internal and client use.
- Deliver presentations with clarity and confidence.
- Support project updates, demos, and solution walkthroughs.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Fresh graduate in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Recently graduated candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Communication Skills
- Exceptional spoken and written English skills.
- Strong comprehension and listening skills.
- Comfortable speaking with stakeholders, clients, and senior team members.
- Prior experience as a spokesperson, presenter, debater, or communicator during education is a strong plus.
Technical and Conceptual Understanding
- Basic understanding of how software development works.
- Basic understanding of AI concepts is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to understand processes, concepts, and ideas and then implement or apply them.
- Ability to extrapolate concepts from one domain to another.

Preferred Qualifications
- Any certification or coursework in Project Management is a strong advantage.
- Previous experience managing or assisting in client communication is a plus.
- Experience in leadership roles, student societies, debates, or presentations during education is a plus.

Working Hours: 05:00 PM - 02:00 AM (Monday-Friday)
Location: Blue Area Islamabad.
