AI Summer Intern Wanted in Houston (Executive AI Program)

We are a growing grocery & gourmet foods company that has been in business for over 30 years. We are a national brand reaching millions of consumers across the U.S. with our spices, flours, beans, lentils, oils, and more. Our products are sold both online and through grocery retail channels nationwide.

We operate in an entrepreneurial environment where ideas move quickly and interns are treated as real contributors—not observers or paper pushers. You will work directly with executives and leadership on meaningful business problems with real-world impact.

We want to start an AI-first initiative across the company—and we are looking for sharp, motivated students to help lead it.

The Role

This is not a traditional internship.

As an AI Summer Intern, you will:

• Work directly with company executives to identify real business problems AI can solve
• Help educate leadership and teams on practical AI tools and workflows
• Design and prototype AI-driven solutions across areas such as:
• Sales & demand forecasting
• Customer insights & marketing automation
• Internal productivity automation
• Own a summer-long AI project with measurable business impact
• Present your work directly to leadership at the end of the internship

You will be expected to think like a builder, experiment quickly, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for exceptional students who are:

• Strong in computer science, data science, engineering, AI/ML, or related fields. Bonus if also experienced in business related fields.
• Comfortable with AI tools (ChatGPT, APIs, automation tools, or machine learning concepts)
• Curious, resourceful, and able to independently explore solutions
• Strong communicators who can explain technical ideas simply
• Excited to work directly with executives and solve real business problems

Bonus if you have:

• Experience building AI apps, automation workflows, or data projects
• Familiarity with Python, APIs, or data tools
• Startup or entrepreneurial experience

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
