This member will be a part of VEKA’s Supply Chain organization, playing a critical role in improving Order-to-Cash (O2C) performance through analytics, process improvement, and applied A.I., while also serving as a project leader and strategic enabler across Supply Chain functions.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Act as a Project Leader for cross-functional initiatives, coordinating work between Production Planning and Operations, Customer Call Center, Commercial Sales teams, Shipping and Logistics, and IT.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Director of Customer Supply Chain on longer-term O2C maturity, digital enablement, and scalability.
  • Translate leadership strategy into executable initiatives (what changes, how, and with what success metrics).
  • Drive adoption and change management:
    • Training, playbooks, communications, and reinforcement of new tools/processes.
    • Develop exception-based dashboards and alerts that shift teams from reactive firefighting to proactive execution.
    • Lead pilots and proofs-of-concept for new A.I. and automation ideas, with clear success criteria and scale plans.
    • Design, build, and maintain automated analytics in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) that support day-to-day O2C execution and decision-making.
    • Lead continuous improvement of the Auto Replenishment Program (VMI-style):

    • Replenishment logic, exception triggers, customer segmentation, and performance tracking.

    • Reduce manual intervention, improve service predictability, and work with customers to adhere to ARP guidelines.
    • Own analytics and workflow improvements for the ELOP portal (VEKA’s Sales Order website):

    • Ordering accuracy, catalog logic, lead-time messaging, and error prevention.

    • Work with IT as a liaison to continuously improve the ELOP portal.
    • Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on:

    • OTIF misses

    • Backlog volatility

    • Forecast bias and inaccuracy

    • Repeated customer call drivers
    • Apply practical A.I. / ML techniques where they demonstrably improve outcomes, such as:

    • Sales Forecast enhancement.

    • At-risk order identification (OTIF risk scoring)

    • Lead-time and Days of Supply accuracy improvements
Skills

  • Strong analytical and process-improvement mindset with a bias for execution, not theoretical analysis.
  • Ability to build analytics and automations (SAC, Excel, SQL/Python, A.I. related tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot).
  • Ability to lead projects without formal authority, influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable moving between:
    • Tactical problem solving (why did this order miss?)

    • Strategic thinking (how do we eliminate this class of problems altogether?)
    • Clear communicator who can:

    • Explain complex analysis in plain business terms

    • Recommend actions, not just insights
    • Ability to communicate with VEKA N/A’s customers.
    • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
    • Analytics Certifications desired.
