As part of our digital transformation strategy, we are seeking a visionary and experienced AI Technology Director to lead the adoption and implementation of artificial intelligence technologies that will enhance project delivery, operational efficiency, safety performance, and business intelligence across the organization.

Position Overview

The AI Technology Director will be responsible for developing and executing the company's AI strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation, and leading the deployment of advanced technologies across construction operations, project management, engineering, procurement, and corporate functions. This executive leadership role will work closely with senior management to drive technology-enabled growth and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's artificial intelligence and digital innovation strategy
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, automation, and data science across construction and engineering operations
• Lead enterprise-wide AI initiatives that improve project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, cost management, and risk assessment
• Oversee the design, development, deployment, and management of AI-powered solutions and intelligent business systems
• Implement predictive analytics for project forecasting, equipment maintenance, workforce planning, and operational performance
• Utilize AI technologies to enhance safety monitoring, quality assurance, and compliance management
• Establish AI governance frameworks, cybersecurity standards, data privacy controls, and ethical AI practices
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology investments with business objectives
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of AI engineers, data scientists, software developers, analysts, and technology professionals
• Evaluate emerging technologies, strategic partnerships, and vendor solutions
• Develop advanced business intelligence platforms and reporting capabilities
• Manage AI project portfolios, budgets, timelines, resources, and performance metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Master's degree, MBA, or PhD preferred
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
• Proven experience implementing AI, machine learning, automation, and advanced analytics solutions within enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, data engineering, AI platforms, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity frameworks
• Experience leading digital transformation and innovation initiatives
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, industrial services, or project-based industries
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM), construction management software, digital twins, IoT technologies, and smart construction solutions
• Experience with predictive maintenance, computer vision, intelligent automation, and AI-driven project controls
• Professional certifications in AI, cloud technologies, project management, cybersecurity, or data science are highly desirable
• Familiarity with construction regulations, safety standards, and large-scale infrastructure projects

Pay: QAR45,000.00 - QAR50,000.00 per month
