Duties

• Assist in designing and developing AI tools and intelligent agents using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Support model training and deployment processes, ensuring models are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to data mining, data cleaning, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to prepare datasets for analysis and model development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement natural language processing (NLP) solutions for various applications.
• Help build scalable big data pipelines utilizing Hadoop, Spark, and Talend for efficient data processing.
• Participate in database design activities and develop SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
• Explore innovative AI techniques including unsupervised learning, quantum engineering concepts, and linked data integration to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with a focus on AI or machine learning at local universities in DFW area.
• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with Java or C is a plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or similar tools.
• Knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Bash (Unix shell scripting).
• Understanding of database design principles and proficiency in SQL; experience with SAS or Looker is advantageous.
• Exposure to natural language processing (NLP), model training techniques, and model deployment strategies.
• Experience with data mining tools like Talend or VBA is desirable; knowledge of AWS cloud services is a plus.
• Demonstrated interest in analytics, AI innovations, and emerging technologies such as quantum engineering or linked data systems.
