The Opportunity

You'll produce video ads that sell for a $1B+ e-commerce brand. This is a hands on role: use AI tools like Veo, Runway, and Kling to generate footage, then edit, composite, and polish until it doesn't look AI-generated at all. You'll track performance down to the second-learning exactly which hook, cut, and frame drove revenue-and iterate based on real data.

What You'll Own AI Video Production
  • Produce 10-30 second video ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Hook, value prop, CTA in every ad. Multiple concepts per week.
  • Use AI video generation tools (Veo, Runway, Kling, Seedance) to create footage that would otherwise require a production crew.
  • Maintain character consistency across shots-keeping faces, outfits, and environments coherent. This is one of the hardest problems in AI video.
Post Production & Audio
  • Blend AI footage with stock or live footage seamlessly. Your compositing and color grading make AI elements indistinguishable.
  • Edit aggressively for retention in Premiere, After Effects, or DaVinci. You understand pacing, pattern interrupts, and visual rhythm.
  • Layer AI voiceovers (ElevenLabs) and sound design. A silent video isn't a finished ad.
Performance Iteration
  • Nail the first 3 seconds. Pattern interrupts, curiosity gaps, visual hooks-if the audience drops early, you iterate.
  • Review click-through rates, hold rates, and drop off points. Every ad is a hypothesis to test.
  • Ship multiple ad variations per week. You know when something is good enough to test.
What You'll Bring
  • A portfolio of ads built to drive sales-not just look good. Performance metrics are a plus.
  • Projects showing character consistency across multiple shots, not just one off clips.
  • Hands on experience with AI video tools-Veo, Kling, Runway, Seedance, or similar.
  • Post production skills in Premiere, After Effects, or DaVinci. Compositing, color grading, upscaling (Topaz or similar).
  • Audio proficiency-AI voice synthesis, sound design, music integration.
  • Your Toolbox Includes: AI video generation platforms, professional editing software, compositing tools, color grading, upscaling tools (Topaz or similar), and AI voice synthesis (ElevenLabs or similar).
Nice to Have
  • DTC/e-commerce performance marketing experience
  • Ads with measurable conversion results
  • Familiarity with creative testing frameworks
Who You'll Work With

You'll sit at the center of creative and performance marketing, collaborating daily with:

  • Marketing Director - Direct reporting line, strategic alignment on campaigns and creative direction
  • Performance Marketing Team - Data partners who'll share CTR, conversion, and drop off insights to fuel your iterations
  • CRO Team - Partner on landing page alignment, offer testing, and conversion optimization
