The Role
AI & Workflow Automation Architect (AED 50,000–70,000/month total compensation) – Family Office (DMCC, Dubai) Type: Full-time Location: Dubai (DMCC) Start: As soon as possible Who we are We are a DMCC-licensed Single Family Office in Dubai. We build our trading strategies in-house, supported by an AI engine trained on 10+ years of tick-level market data. The AI & Workflow Automation Architect will work directly with the two owners/directors, owning automation for the admin team (workflows, integrations, and internal AI tools) while also supporting core business initiatives in our trading operation—delivering IT/engineering work as delegated by the CEO (including upgrades to our C# trading systems and related automation). Role summary (read carefully) This is a hands-on execution role. You will personally design, build, and ship automation workflows and AI systems end-to-end. This is not a people-management role and not a role for someone who mainly coordinates or manages other programmers. We expect production-grade delivery, reliability, and measurable cycle-time reduction across operations. Compensation and benefits • Total compensation (equivalent): AED 50,000–70,000/month • Base: AED 50,000/month • Performance bonus: up to 40% of annual base, paid in December based on structured performance criteria • (At maximum bonus, this equals ~AED 70,000/month total compensation equivalent.) • Annual salary increase: 10% compounding each year • Health insurance: Category A (worldwide; top UAE clinics/hospitals) + option for spouse/kids • UAE visa + official DMCC employment contract • Paid annual leave: 30 calendar days + round-trip economy flight to home country • Personal/career development What you will own (hands-on delivery) Private office automation (admin + household operations) • Build and maintain integrations through APIs/webhooks (email, task systems, Google Drive/Sheets, files, finance exports) and ship workflows that run reliably. • Automate recurring workflows end-to-end (e.g., statements, expense tracking, reconciliation, reporting packs, approvals). • Implement automated follow-ups and escalations so routine chasing is handled by the system and only exceptions/critical items reach owners. • Build an internal AI support layer backed by an approved knowledge base (policies, rules, templates) to answer employee questions consistently and reduce escalation. • Implement production controls: approvals for financial/legal/external actions, audit logs, access permissions, monitoring, and error handling. Core business support (trading operation) • Support the CEO and Chief Trading Officer with upgrades and improvements to the company’s internal C# trading system and related tooling. • Implement delegated engineering tasks that improve speed, reliability, observability, automation, and operational efficiency within the trading ecosystem. Requirements • Proven track record shipping automation used in real operations (not demos). • Strong API/integration skills and ability to deliver workflows end-to-end with reliability, monitoring, and maintainability. • Highly experienced with AI APIs and modern AI tooling in production—able to embed AI into workflows safely, with deterministic logic where needed. • Experience building controlled assistants that provide source-based answers (no guessing), with clear escalation paths. Must-have technical depth • Production LLM systems: RAG, tool-calling, structured outputs, prompt/version control. • Evaluation & QA: test sets, regression testing, hallucination controls, confidence thresholds. • Security: OAuth/service accounts, secrets management, least-privilege design, logging/retention. • Data layer: Postgres (or equivalent), basic ETL, schema design for expenses/tasks/statements. • C# competence sufficient to contribute meaningfully to an existing trading system codebase (.NET). Stack (current and expected) • Workflow automation/orchestration: n8n / Make / Workato / Microsoft Power Automate • Scripting: Python / JavaScript • Data: Postgres (or equivalent) • Trading system: C#/.NET • AI: production use of leading LLM APIs, embeddings/vector search, and tool-based agent workflows Hiring approach Selected candidates will be invited for paid trial days to validate real-world delivery speed, reliability, and quality in our environment.
