Title: AI Workflow Engineer

Salary: upto 100,000 per month, depending on experience and skills

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 5PM to 2AM

Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential extension based on performance, project need)

Location: Remote

Job Description:

• Design and implement an integration strategy using Pipedream, n8n, BullMQ, and other iPaaS tools.
• Build custom workflows and automations with robust error handling, logging, and monitoring.
• Manage OAuth flows, token lifecycle, and secure connector authentication for third-party services.
• Implement real-time data synchronization between external systems like CRM, email, and calendar.
• Orchestrate and trigger AI agents and RAG pipelines based on workflow events and data.
• Ensure workflow reliability, cost-efficiency, and scalability across the automation platform.
• Collaborate with the backend engineer to design APIs and with the AI engineer to define agent interfaces that support seamless integrations.

Screening Parameters:

• Strong, hands-on experience with Pipedream (preferred) or similar iPaaS platforms (Zapier, Make.com, n8n).
• Deep knowledge of OAuth2, webhooks, and API security best practices.
• Experience in building workflows that interact with AI models or agents.
• Proven experience building multi-step, production-grade workflows with comprehensive error handling.
• Strong problem-solving skills for debugging and optimizing live automations.
• Understanding of how to handle and structure data for AI consumption (prompts, context, etc.).

Projects Must Have/Done:

• Deployed and managed production workflows on Pipedream (or a similar platform).
• Built a complex integration platform connecting 10+ third-party services (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce, Gmail, Slack, Calendly).
• Built workflows that trigger and manage the execution of AI/ML models or agentic systems.
• Designed and maintained complex workflow automation systems with conditional logic and data transformation.
• Integrated multiple third-party services through secure, authenticated connectors.

TechStack:

• Primary: Pipedream, BullMQ, n8n, Zapier/Make.com
• APIs & Protocols: REST, Webhooks, OAuth2, JWT
• Supporting Skills: Node.js/Python (for Pipedream/n8n code steps), data mapping (JSON, XML)
• AI Interaction: Knowledge of connecting to AI agent endpoints (e.g., via REST/Webhooks)

Commitment:

• Availability: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week
• Duration: 3-month contract (with potential extension)
• Compensation: Up to 80,000 per month, depending on experience and skills
• Expectation: Must demonstrate strong ownership, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the backend engineer.
