Aide Certified Transport Driver

TRANSPORT DRIVER (STNA REQUIRED / WILL TRAIN) – IMMEDIATE HIRE

We are urgently hiring a Transport Driver for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Conneaut, Ohio. This is not just a driving position — we need someone who can safely transport and actively care for our residents during appointments and outings.

Our drivers are part of the care team. You must be able to assist residents, ensure safety, and respond to their needs during transport — not just get them from point A to point B.

Requirements:

• Current STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) certification OR willingness to obtain it quickly (we will support the right candidate)

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Experience working with elderly or in healthcare is strongly preferred

• Ability to safely assist residents in/out of vehicles and during transport

• Dependable, responsible, and patient-focused

• Strong communication and professionalism

Responsibilities:

• Transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and facility-related trips

• Ensure resident safety, comfort, and care during transport

• Assist with transfers, mobility, and supervision as needed

• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and facility team

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of transport vehicles
