Responsibilities:
- Assist with Bed mobility and transfers
- Light house keeping
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary restrictions are followed
- Provide first aid and emergency care as needed
- Assist with daily activities and personal care tasks (Dressing/bathing/grooming).
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
Skills:
- Experience or knowledge in behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and related challenges
- Ability to administer medication following proper protocols
- Proficient in meal preparation and dietary restrictions
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing quality care and support to individuals with limited mobility. The ability to effectively manage limited mobility, administer medication, and provide personal care is essential. The assistant should also have strong organizational skills and be able to maintain a clean environment. A valid driver's license is required for transportation purposes, and the ability to lift and transfer individuals is necessary.
