Role Description

We are hiring a full-time, remote AI/ML Engineer (Karachi-based) to develop, deploy, and optimise machine learning models that solve real business problems. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to integrate AI/ML into production workflows, measure performance, and continuously improve model accuracy and efficiency.

This role suits someone who enjoys building end-to-end ML solutions—moving beyond notebooks into reliable, maintainable systems that create measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, evaluate, and optimise ML models for business use cases
• Build and maintain forecasting and predictive analytics solutions (especially time series)
• Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and statistical analysis on large structured datasets
• Develop model deployment pipelines (REST APIs, microservices, batch jobs) and monitor performance in production
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into product workflows and internal tools
• Define and track model metrics (accuracy, drift, latency), and iterate based on results
• Contribute to best practices around MLOps, testing, documentation, and reproducibility

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and ML/data libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Hands-on experience with time series forecasting (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM, XGBoost, or similar)
• Strong understanding of statistical modelling and predictive analytics
• Experience working with large structured datasets (payroll, HR, financial datasets preferred)
• Knowledge of data pipelines and ETL processes
• Experience deploying ML models (e.g., REST APIs, microservices, batch jobs)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning, including pattern recognition and neural networks
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, software development practices)
• Demonstrated experience in statistics and data analysis
• Ability to design, implement, and optimise AI/ML models for practical, real-world applications
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Prior experience delivering applied AI/ML projects (highly desirable)

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
