AI/ML Lead Engineer (Data Science Manager)

Fannara Group is developing a closed-loop AI platform that transforms real-world environmental data into autonomous decision making systems for irrigation, fertigation, and energy optimization. We are seeking a senior AI/ML Lead Engineer to translate advanced machine learning into production grade systems operating at scale.

This role is ideal for AI leaders who want to move beyond dashboards and benchmarks and deploy AI that directly controls physical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of 14+ AI/ML models across irrigation optimization, fertigation control, energy management, and predictive maintenance
• Architect and manage the MLOps infrastructure, including model lifecycle management, monitoring, retraining pipelines and CI/CD for ML
• Establish robust data pipelines for time series, sensor, and environmental data
• Ensure seamless integration of AI models with edge devices, controllers, and cloud platforms
• Monitor model performance, drift, and reliability in real world operating conditions
• Guide research and adoption of advanced AI techniques, including reinforcement learning, deep learning, and transformer based models
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary AI and data engineering team
• Collaborate with leadership to define the long term AI roadmap and technical strategy

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in AI/ML, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years in applied ML engineering, including production deployment
• Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and ML system design
• Strong experience with time series data, optimization, and control systems
• Experience working with large scale, noisy, real world datasets
• Familiarity with cloud + edge architectures
