Air and ocean import operation clerk and Accounting clerk

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Air and Ocean Import Operation Clerk and an Accounting Clerk to join our vibrant logistics team. The operation clerk is vital in ensuring seamless coordination of import shipments via air and ocean freight, managing accurate documentation. The accounting clerk is vital in handle AR/AP and maintaining precise financial records and statements.

Duties

• Coordinate and process air and ocean import shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations including FDA regulations when applicable.
• Manage freight documentation such as bills of lading, customs declarations, invoices, and shipping manifests using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) platforms.
• Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, 3PL providers, NVOCCs (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers), and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transportation operations.
• Handle dispatching activities for shipments, coordinate transportation planning, and optimize carrier sales strategies to improve service delivery.
• Maintain accurate AR/AP records of transactions with statements from branch offices and agents.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supply chain management with a focus on transportation management or logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems.
• Excellent negotiation skills paired with the ability to manage contracts effectively while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Exceptional data entry skills with high accuracy; ability to handle dispatching tasks efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while supporting logistics planning and account management activities.
• Speak and read Chinese will be a great plus.

Pay: From $4,500.00 per month
