Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems for residential, commercial and industrial settings. Duties will include the installation/ commissioning of VRF/VRV, split type air conditioning systems. The work will be within the Bucks/Oxon/Herts areas with occasional projects in London and will require a strong mechanical knowledge. The ideal candidate will possess leadership qualities and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
• Delivery of high quality installations working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of standard.
• Working on complex DWG's and Schematics.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in air conditioning systems, providing effective solutions for repairs.
• Read and interpret technical schematics and drawings to facilitate installation and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
• Delivery of exacting standards in the commissioning phase of large complex systems with demonstrable abilities in line with BS EN378.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers or apprentices as required.

Skills Required:

• Experience with forerunner manufacturer's (i.e., Mitsubishi, Daikin, Panasonic, Jujitsu etc.)
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• F-Gas Cat 1 certification is essential.
• Health & Safety training and awareness.
• 18th Edition certification desired but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Certifications in air conditioning installation and maintenance (NVQ's)
• Strong problem-solving and electric controls skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Team leader skills with the ability to coach and guide junior engineers.
• Ability to work independently, remotely and to tight deadlines.
• Right to work in the UK
• Pass an Enhanced DBS check due to our clients requirements and sensitive work areas.
