Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Air Duct Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible, have a positive attitude, valid driver’s licenses, a good work ethic, and a team player attitude. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, along with mechanical knowledge to assist with minor repairs and maintenance as needed. Technicians will work in customers’ homes and must represent the company with integrity and professionalism.
Duties
- Operate high-power truck mounted vacuums, compressed air, brushes as well as other cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- HVAC system inspection and cleaning with minor repairs related to HVAC/R systems, and equipment as needed.
- Good communication skills and customer service professionalism with clients. As well as selling additional services as needed( Example Dryer Vent Cleaning) .
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and cleaning equipment.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge related to Air Duct Cleaning, HVAC systems, appliance repair, and equipment repair is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in confined spaces, lift heavy equipment (often up to 50 lbs.), stand for long periods, and work off ladders.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with HVAC systems, tools, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Licensure: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or HVAC is preferred, but we offer on-the-job training
Typical Working Conditions:
- Technicians often work in residential homes, schools, and commercial buildings.
- Work is physically demanding and involves dust and, at times, cramped spaces.
- Hours may include days, evenings, or weekends.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to NADCA & DCN standards and safety regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $29.00 per hour
