  1. Job Description – Asst. Manager or Dy. Manager - Airfreight


  1. Job Purpose:
  • Air Exports Procurement with back-up support to CS.
  • Develop and expand Airfreight business.
  • Job Involves the Following Linkages:

    Within the Organization:

    • Sales / CS People within the division.
    • Other Divisions
    • Regional Heads
    • Other Branches / Zonal Managers
    • Airport Operation Team
    • Finance Team

    Outside the Organization :

    • Customers
    • Overseas Offices
    • Service providers: Airlines, Freight Forwarder / Transporters / CHA's

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Air Export Procurement with back-up support to Customer Service.
    • Develop strong relationship with airlines and procure very share Air export rates.
    • Minimum 60% conversion on received enquiries.
    • Generating budgeted Tonnage for the Department.
    • Thorough knowledge on door to door shipments.
    • Solving all Commercial & Operational Challenges for Air Exports.
    • Market Coverage for corporate customers related to Air Exports.
