Position Title: Air Pollution Analytics Executive
Role Overview:
The Air Pollution Analytics Executive will be responsible for analyzing air quality data with a strong focus on wind dynamics, meteorological parameters, and pollutant dispersion behavior. The role requires in-depth understanding of wind direction, wind speed, humidity, temperature, and atmospheric conditions, along with the ability to source, validate, interpret, and present air pollution data for regulatory, operational, and strategic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Air Quality & Meteorological Analysis:
- Analyze air pollution data in relation to wind direction, wind speed, humidity, temperature, and atmospheric pressure.
- Study pollutant dispersion patterns and assess the impact of meteorological conditions on air quality.
- Interpret seasonal and daily variations in air pollution levels.
- Support air dispersion modeling and trend analysis for environmental assessments.
Data Collection & Sourcing:
- Collect air quality and meteorological data from various sources including:
- Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (CAAQMS)
- Meteorological stations
- CPCB/SPCB portals
- Satellite data and public databases
- Ensure data accuracy, validation, and consistency.
- Maintain structured datasets and historical records for analysis and reporting.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and summaries based on collected data.
- Correlate pollution levels with wind patterns and meteorological factors.
- Assist in preparing reports for internal teams, clients, and regulatory submissions.
- Present findings in a clear and understandable manner to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Compliance & Technical Support:
- Support environmental compliance studies, audits, and impact assessments.
- Assist senior teams in air quality studies, modeling exercises, and technical proposals.
- Stay updated with CPCB, SPCB, and MoEF guidelines related to air quality monitoring and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of air pollution science and meteorological principles.
- Knowledge of wind rose diagrams, dispersion patterns, and AQI interpretation.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data visualization tools (GIS, AQMS software, or similar tools preferred).
- Understanding of wind dynamics, humidity, and atmospheric behavior.
- Attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in air quality monitoring, environmental analytics, or pollution control projects.
- Familiarity with air dispersion models (e.g., AERMOD, CALPUFF – preferred).
- Experience working with government or regulatory data sources is an advantage.
Work Environment:
- Office-based analytical role with occasional site coordination or data validation visits.
- Close interaction with technical, regulatory, and project teams.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
