Air Quality Monitoring Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking highly skilled engineers with specialized OEM certifications to manage, operate, and maintain advanced air quality monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with international and Gulf environmental standards, optimize analyzer performance, and deliver accurate reporting for regulatory and research purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain atleast 1 of the 4 (Thermo, Env.S.A, TAPI, and AMA analyzers) for air quality monitoring.
  • Conduct calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of monitoring systems.
  • Supervise installation and commissioning of analyzers across multiple sites.
  • Validate and analyze air quality data for compliance with local and international standards.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory submission.
  • Lead audits, inspections, and performance evaluations of monitoring networks.
  • Train junior engineers and technicians on OEM-certified procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in air quality monitoring and assessment.
  • At least 3 years of Gulf region experience in environmental monitoring projects.
  • OEM training certificates in Thermo, Env.S.A, TAPI, and AMA analyzers.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental compliance frameworks and reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with AAQMS (Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Systems).
  • Experience in data acquisition systems and environmental software tools.
  • Ability to manage multi-site monitoring networks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR9,000.00 per month
