We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heat Pump Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals; perform necessary repairs or replacements of components.
• Collaborate with clients to assess their heating and cooling needs, offering expert advice on system optimisation.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system performance data.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Assist in the training of junior staff or apprentices in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical systems, air conditioning, or HVAC engineering.
• Strong knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and system troubleshooting.
• Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage projects and mentor team members.
• Proficiency in equipment repair, maintenance practices, and construction-related tasks.
• Familiarity with heat pump technology, including installation techniques and operational principles.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC or mechanical engineering are preferred but not mandatory.
