- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system performance data.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Assist in the training of junior staff or apprentices in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical systems, air conditioning, or HVAC engineering.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and system troubleshooting.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage projects and mentor team members.
- Proficiency in equipment repair, maintenance practices, and construction-related tasks.
- Familiarity with heat pump technology, including installation techniques and operational principles.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC or mechanical engineering are preferred but not mandatory.
