Job Description:
The Air Ticketing Officer & Tourism Executive is responsible for handling airline reservations, issuing tickets, managing travel itineraries, and providing tourism-related services to clients. The role requires knowledge of airline booking systems, customer service skills, and the ability to promote and arrange travel and tourism packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle airline reservations, ticket issuance, revalidations, reissues, and cancellations.
- Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) Only Amadeus bookings.
- Advise customers on flight options, schedules, fares, and travel regulations.
- Plan and promote tourism packages including hotels, tours, and transportation.
- Provide accurate fare quotations and ensure timely ticket delivery.
- Handle queries and resolve issues related to reservations, cancellations, and refunds.
- Build strong customer relationships by providing professional travel advice and after-sales support.
- Stay updated with airline policies, travel regulations, and promotional offers.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Travel, Tourism, or related field is an Advantage.
- Prior experience in ticketing and tourism services is Must at least 2years.
- Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of tourism destinations and packages.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic IT skills.
Work Environment:
- Office-based with client interactions (face-to-face, phone, email).
- May require flexible working hours during peak travel seasons.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
