Aircraft Cleaner

Required or Preferred Qualifications:

§ Must be 18 years of age.

§ Must be capable of providing authorization to work in the United States.

§ Hire is contingent upon passage of Airport / TSA / US Department of Customs background check, and, obtaining an Airport Authority SIDA badge and US Customs Hologram Seal as needed.

§ Passage of Company / TSA / Airport exams and training upon hire.

§ Driver’s License (preferred)

General Responsibilities:

§ Responsible for the overall cleaning of the interior aircraft cabin.

Specific Duties / Essential Job Functions: (Other duties may be assigned.)

§ Responsible for cleaning all areas of the aircraft

§ Lavatories, Galleys, Cabin Area

§ Performing Security Checks in Aircraft Cabin Interiors

§ Provisioning

§ Ensuring all areas of the aircraft are vacuumed and free of debris.

§ Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

§ The individual may be required to stand and walk for 2/3 or more of the work shift.

§ Individual may be required to talk, hear and use hands to handle or feel for 2/3 or more of the work shift.

§ Individual may be required to lift up to 50 pounds or more for up to 2/3 of the work shift.

§ The essential job duties of this position require employees to constantly stand, walk, and climb stairs.

§ Moderate lifting of up to 75 pounds is required.

§ Moderate pushing and pulling is required. Grabbing, grasping, holding, squeezing, typing, and use of fingers are required.

§ Bending, stretching, twisting or reaching with arms and/or legs required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.

§ The noise in the work environment is moderate.

§ Outerwear and earplugs are made available as required.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Listens and follows directions; coordination of Company objectives and airline objectives in a fast-paced environment; able to mediate minor customer disputes with passengers or crew.
• Strong customer service capabilities; superior attention to detail and awareness of work objectives and environment; ability to perform standardized cleaning work; ability to check own work.
• Ability to interpret and apply Company and airport security, safety, and standardized procedures.
