Primary Job Description:

Candidate shall be responsible for assisting all aspects dispatch of flight school at this location. Responsibilities include:

-Dispatch Certificate not required. On the job training will be provided at the jobsite.

· Dispatch personnel who will be present to monitor the safety of every flight operation and ensure compliance with US Aviation’s Safety Practices and Procedures (SPP) and Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).

· Timing, scheduling and logistics of maintaining aircraft; maintain a close working relationship with maintenance vendors to ensure minimal down time and extra expense are incurred in maintaining the fleet of aircraft.

· Communicate with students and the sponsoring college regularly upcoming flights, and remaining training balance to proactive resolve issues and encourage on-time and performance of their training.

· Participate in regular staff meetings with your peer; be prepared to provide regular status updates of student areas of concern, and proposed solutions.

· Any other responsibilities as defined by your manager.

Strong candidates should have superior organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills in relating to students, and possess a positive attitude. Basic Microsoft Office proficiency and computer skills required. Previous experience in aviation and educational environments a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
