<Responsibilities>

  • Assist with the inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft electronic systems.
  • Support the disassembly and reassembly of aircraft components, including airframe sections and electronic assemblies, utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on electrical and avionics issues to identify underlying problems and recommend effective repair solutions.
  • Assist in fabricating or modifying wiring harnesses for aircraft maintenance projects.
  • Support equipment repair activities including soldering, welding, calibration with test instruments, and heavy lifting when handling large or heavy components.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and industry standards.

<Qualifications>

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Familiarity with avionics systems is highly desirable but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, airframe structures, sheet metal fabrication, welding techniques, and aircraft maintenance practices is helpful.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering irons, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments effectively.
  • Familiarity with industry standards including AS9100 quality management system requirements and Federal Aviation Regulations related to aviation maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis on complex electrical or mechanical issues.
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely. Ability to wear all required safety equipment; to walk/sit/climb/crawl/twist/bend/gain entry to/work in confined areas; and to work from stands and ladders.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
