Aircraft Fueler and Line Service Technician

Sandstone Aviation is a full service fixed based operator (FBO) serving a broad base of clientele at the St. George, Ut (SGU) airport.

Starting wage: $16.50-$20/hr.

The Line Service Technician is the front line of the business, ensuring that all aircraft movements are performed with safety and customer service as the focus. Working as part of a team you will greet and dispatch arriving and departing aircraft with a friendly and helpful disposition. Fueling Hours of operation 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., 7 days a week.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• TSA Background Check required.
• Regular and reliable in-person and timely attendance for shifts which will include nights, weekends and/or holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions including heat, rain, dust, noise, and cold.

Job Duties:

• Aircraft fueling.
• Provide a wide range of aircraft and customer support services.
• Transport aircraft between storage hangars and the maintenance ramp when requested.
• Marshaling and parking of all incoming aircraft on the FBO ramp.
• Fuel aircraft and ensure adequate fuel levels are maintained in the fuel trucks.
• Keep track of incoming and departing aircraft along with all scheduled charter, trainer, and transit flights/aircraft.
• Assist with general cleaning of building and grounds.
• Assist passengers and crew with baggage.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
