Job Title: Aircraft Fueler / Ground Handler

Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and safety-focused individuals to join our aviation ground operations team. The Aircraft Fueler / Ground Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional servicing of aircraft. This position offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced aviation environment with opportunities for advancement through training and certifications.
Duties
- Safely refuel aircraft according to standard procedures, ensuring accurate delivery and documentation of fuel orders
- Efficiently marshal aircraft into ramp areas
- Safely tow aircraft in and out of hangars and around airport grounds
- Complete general ground handling and ramp services with various equipment
- Provide high-quality customer service for pilots, crew and passengers
- Conduct routine inspections of aircraft exterior and ground support equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance teams, and logistics personnel to ensure timely turnaround operations
- Follow all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company safety protocols during all handling activities
- Manage inventory and quality control
- Execute Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) roles as necessary
Additional Duties
- Snow removal, aircraft deicing and other winter weather operations
- Routine preventative maintenance on refueling equipment
- Janitorial duties as required
- Wildlife hazard management on airport grounds
Requirements
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A strong commitment to safety policies and procedures
- Team working skills, dependability, punctuality and the ability to adapt to changing environments
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in aviation, ground handling, ramp operations, or aircraft fueling
- Military experience or background in aviation-related fields
- Familiarity with FAA regulations, safety protocols, or airport operations
- Familiarity with fire fighting systems
