SunnySide Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious client in the Maldives for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of a US-registered amphibious aircraft.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced aviation professional looking to work in one of the world's most stunning locations while taking responsibility for maintaining a specialist aircraft in a dynamic operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and maintenance standards.
• Maintain accurate technical records and documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance planning and aircraft serviceability requirements.
• Support safe and efficient aircraft operations.

Essential Requirements

• FAA A&P Licence (Airframe & Powerplant).
• Strong aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience carrying out inspections, repairs and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and manage maintenance activities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Desirable Requirements

• FAA Inspection Authorisation (IA).
• Experience signing annual inspections.
• Experience with Rotax 912 iS engines.
• Experience with composite aircraft structures.
• Amphibious aircraft experience.
• Experience maintaining US-registered aircraft.
