Sterling Flight Training is a FAR approved part 141 flight training school with an opening at our Tallahassee International Airport (KTLH) location. It’s been run by respected and successful long-term aviation professionals since December 2018 and is very well financially backed. We seek a motivated part-time A&P mechanic who wants to grow in their career by providing aircraft maintenance on our general aviation fleet of piston Piper and Cessna aircraft. Valid Airframe and Powerplant License

General Aviation Experience Preferred. IA/Part 141 Experience Preferred

At least 18 years old and a high school graduate

Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license

Must be able to pass a tenyear Background/Criminal/OMV/Drug Screen

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel

Ability to work independently and selfmotivated to complete all tasks and projects in a timely manner

Cooperative member of the team and able to get along with others

Exceptional communication, attention to detail and problemsolving skills are essential

Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks with a sense of urgency

Document scheduled and unscheduled items are completed in a timely manner

Perform quality control and assurance of aircraft maintenance activities including overhaul, modification, maintenance and repair of aircraft structures, engines and accessories

Ensure good communication with vendors

Assure all work accomplished is completed in accordance with the company’s policies, General Maintenance Manual, Manufacturer’s Maintenance Manuals and current FARs

Ensure all company maintenance facilities and equipment are kept clean and organized for efficient maintenance workflow
