Aircraft Painter

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Painter to join our team. We are located at Jabara airport (brand new facility!) and maintain over 20 Beechjets as well as many other aircraft. We are looking with someone with over 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

1. Mark areas to be filled

2. Mixes hardener and filler

3. Applies hardener and filler to unfinished areas needing smoothing and contouring.

4. Spray primer, paint filler and protective paint on prepared surfaces.

5. Prepares plastic or fiberglass parts of aircraft using filler to provide uniform surface for paint adhesion.

6. Uses painting equipment including brushes and spray guns to perform minor rework, touchup, priming, finish painting of partial aircraft when not otherwise engaged in paint preparation duties.

7. Refurbishment aircraft - applies chemical paint removers.

8. Roughs and finishes aircraft parts using various types of sandpaper and hand sanding machines to provide surface for paint adhesion and smooth appearance.

9. Prepares painted surfaces. Spray primers or various paint finishes to parts, assemblies, or completed aircraft. Uses some judgment in obtaining desired finish.

• Aircraft painting: 1 year (Required)

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
